The time has come for KRENTO to be released as open source .You can find the source code on Google Code site: https://code.google.com/p/krento After 4 years of hard work I understood that I can't continue the development of such a big project alone. Starting from version 3.1 Krento supports docklets. Krento Docklets are mini applications similar to Krento Toys with a variety of possible uses. They can connect to web services to deliver business data, weather information, news updates, traffic maps, Internet radio streams, and even slide shows of online photo albums. Docklets can also integrate with other programs to provide streamlined interaction. Krento comes with a set of docklets to get you started, and you can also develop your docklets to extend the Krento functionality using Embarcardero Delphi or Microsoft Visual C++ compilers. Krento 2.1.1098.25 is available for download. I officially confirm that this is the last available release of Krento 2. The work on Krento 3.0 is almost finished and I do not plan to update Krento 2.1 anymore

Krento 2.1 is available for download from http://users.telenet.be/serhiy.perevoznyk/manual/download.html . In this release I added the possibility to select the style of the manager window. You can choose between the classic layout with the stone caption in the middle of the manager window or the new style with navigation buttons (more practical for netbooks and tablet pc). The seletion of the style can be done via the advanced settings dialog. Do not forget to restart Krento to apply your changes. Krento can run RocketDock docklets and StackDocklet 2.0 probably one of the most popular docklets for RocketDock . The setup of this docklet is not really trivial (maybe because it's a beta version), but can give a really interesting result. Here is the detailed instruction how to install the StackDocklet 2.0 for Krento. 1. Download StackDocklet 2.0 The download link from the author's website is broken, but you can download it from Megaupload site:  http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1SWE1N31 2. Extract the content of the StackDocklet2.0.rar archive to your hard drive. 3. Copy all files from the archive to Krento "Docklets" folder This folder is located inside the Krento Data Folder. Open Krento Data Folder, find inside "Dockets" folder and copy StackDocklet 2.0 files there. One of the files StackDocklet.dll you have to copy to other location: Krento Application folder.
